      As a medical student under Dr Kriegel, I got to work in the Adolescents Department.In the Adolescents department I got to interact with patients suffering with depression, bipolar disorders and various other psychiatric ailments. As part of the psychiatry treatment I also got a chance to interact with the nurses and the psychologist and not only help patients by using the appropriate medications but Also by focusing on different therapies like DBT and CBT. As part of Forensics Unit with Dr DeFreitas, I got a chance to interact with patients who were either waiting trials or were being treated after having face trial. A part of my job included interviewing patients and optimizing their treatment. Also I was able to attend hearing for different patients and assess their level of fitness.
