I began working as a Software Engineering Coach at Flatiron School x WeWork, rated the #1 Coding Bootcamp by Course Report in 2019. As a Software Engineering Coach my primary role is to teach students how to write flexible resilient Full Stack Applications and manage student projects. I also deliver lectures in Full Stack fundamentals which included: SQL Fundamentals and Querying, Intro to Rails, Rails as an API, JavaScript Events, React Fundamentals, and React Component Life Cycles. Along with delivering quality instruction, my role also includes setting a standard of collaboration and constant pursuit of knowledge. Through this role I have learned humility, independence, and the importance of trying to learn something new every day. Show less

Through this experience I learned how to lead and how to follow. I learned to work with all kinds of personalities, and how to manage stress to get the job done. I learned the importance of collaboration and at the end of the day if you fail, the team fails. Show less
