While at Eagle my primary responsibilities have been solid waste permitting, soil and groundwater investigations, RECAP investigations and reporting, and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments. A number of these Phase I ESAs have been completed in conjunction with wetland determinations, threatened & endangered species evaluations, and archaeological evaluations in order to certify the property for development. I oversaw the soil and groundwater investigations and numerous sites across the State of Louisiana to determine suitability of actions and compliance with applicable regulations. I was the State site manager for a large variety of large petrochemical plants and inactive and abandoned sites (Superfund) sites. I also worked on solid and hazardous waste permitting, I was selected to work on a committee to finalize a permit for a large hazardous waste landfill operation. I conducted presentations at EPA seminars on large investigations at petrochemical facilities and trained LDEQ employees on proper sampling techniques. I served as a grant application reviewer for EPA contracts and managed sub-contractor contracts for the LDEQ.
