Student Body President
-
May 2015 - May 2016
As the President of Student Body I oversaw and maintained the relationship between the student body, faculty, staff, and administration. I led and managed my executive and legislative branch along with standing and university committee appointees totaling over 100+ students. I planned and managed the budget of over 200,000 dollars that is allocated to student groups for travel and program requests. I advocated for student issues on campus that included college affordability, Title IX, mental health, sustainability, advising, and day-to-day issues on campus that are affecting students. I successfully led an effort to change the structure of Student Government resulting in a more equal and fair representation for the campus. Show less
