  As a Campus Correspondent at Mediawise, a division of the Poynter Institute for Media Studies, I am responsible for networking with college professors across the country in order to provide their students with a live virtual presentation on digital media literacy. Through Mediawise’s extensive training, I’ve learned how to facilitate an audience of up to 400 people at a time, locate timely news stories to complement the training presentation and create content for social media outreach. Through this position, I have become extremely proficient in my ability to connect with others and administer good personal relations. Surveys provided to all students and professors at the end of my trainings have resulted in over 90% of responses expressing immense satisfaction with the manner in which I portray and discuss newsworthy topics in an engaging way.
