Brighton, England, United Kingdom I create and schedule social media content for a range of clients, using Buffer to schedule posts. I schedule emails to be released via HubSpot, and create a range of graphic design content using Canva for YouTube, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other services that clients require. I create marketing content, pitches, and flyers for clients. I also research to aid with marketing for clients, and compile information for the marketing department to use for future projects.

St Albans, United Kingdom At WUKA, I helped create content for their online presence on Instagram, including flat lay photo shoots, short film advertisements for the company, and a World Ocean Day campaign video. I was was responsible for the editing and post-production of the content, as well as being part of the creative process with Ruby and my colleagues. As there was only 3 of us on the creative team I would also help in photography, cinematography, lighting, scheduling and budgeting. I would then use Avid Media Composer and Pro Tools to edit video footage, and Photoshop to edit the photographs. Occasionally, we would help write for and organise the website blog, using their website providers services. I really enjoyed working with such a passionate feminist team, and getting to contribute to a start-up company with world wide potential. It taught me a lot about the corporate perspective on film making, working to briefs, and working to more strict deadlines. Show less

London, United Kingdom I worked as an Audience Manager with Applause Store for the Saturday episode of the X-Factor finale in 2018. My responsibilities included checking guests' tickets and ID, giving out wrists bands, directing people on where to go, and generally helping the audience have a smooth and pleasant check-in experience. • Marketing and Communications/Service and Maintenance Admin

United Kingdom While working as a Service and Maintenance Administrator, I also helped create ads for the company to post on LinkedIn through Photoshop, created a schedule for social media posting of relevant industry related news and stories, as well as putting advertisements in the local paper. As Service and Maintenance Administrator, I scheduled engineers work days, called clients and scheduled meetings, contacted home owners for warranty work, and identified and ordered plumbing and electrical parts for engineers to take to jobs. It required a lot of organisation and patience, as customers were usually already frustrated by the time they got through to us. We were regularly problem solving, rescheduling days, and redistributing our engineers to adapt to constantly changing circumstances. We also dealt with emergencies, including plant room failures and fire alarm issues.

I was responsible for schedules and calendars, ensuring meetings did not clash, as well as taking calls and keeping the office running smoothly. I ordered stationary and other goods for the company, aided in the running of company events, redirected calls to the correct department - as well as filtering them - and took messages for the directors. My knowledge of company structure improved quickly as I had to learn on the job who to direct calls too. I also worked more closely with the directors of the company as well as the estimators, as I often made spreadsheets for them and printed out huge numbers of site drawings when they did not have time. I also worked closely with sites, printing and editing ticksheets as needed. This improved my knowledge of excel greatly, alongside helping with event planning, as everything was run off of spreadsheets that everybody could access.

United Kingdom I would take calls from both clients and customers regarding plumbing and electrical works that needed carrying out in properties that the company had helped build. I would then process these jobs, logging them on commusoft, and call the tenant to make an appointment with them. I would also organise and talk to engineers about the jobs they were attending, to help them structure their day. I often dealt with complaints from customers, which gave me fantastic customer service skills. If we needed to attend the property, it would be because they already had a plumbing or electrical issue, so customers were not always happy to talk to use. However, this developed my communication skills and patience, and allowed me to expand my knowledge of company structure in the cases where I needed to escalate the case.
