I worked at this company as a receptionist in August 2021 and was invited back the following summer to work in their Marketing department. During this month internship, I was mainly shadowing the International Online Marketing Manager, improving the user experience and site health of the website, however, I also did work for the Digital Marketing team: using my Adobe skills. Vision Engineering have 17 different websites however I was working on their Distributor Hub which was published through WordPress. To begin with, I conducted a first-look usability test and decided the areas I thought needed work to improve the user experience. This then gave me an idea of what I needed to work on over the following weeks. This work primarily centred around improving how visually self-explanatory and consistent it was as well as populating it with any new material and updating any documents with out of date branding. • Jun 2022 - Aug 2022

During this 6 week internship, I leant a lot of valuable skills I will take with me into my future career. For the first 3 weeks, we were finishing Pre SS23 and began preparing for Main Season SS23, this called for skills within B2B's, Pipedrive, HelloSign and MailChimp. The following 3 weeks of the internship were the start of the selling season so my role was focused on looking after prospective buyers. I had to stay on top of the calendar and remind the brand managers of upcoming appointments, as well as re- merchanding the showroom after appointments while welcoming clients into the showroom and attending to them thoughout their session. I also continued working on B2B's while inputting client selections. Show less

During this weeks work experience I worked in the Quality Control department which dealt with product complaints and manufacturing faults. I learnt skills such as presentation and problem solving as many of the products that were sent back to the Quality Control department only had minor issues so required small fixes to resolve the fault. As well as learning technical skills, I also gained an exposure to the business environment and spent time in the fashion buying department.
