As the Waste Program Coordinator, I coordinate and deliver the City of Guelph’s public-facing waste reduction, reuse and diversion programs based on the Council-approved recommendations of the Solid Waste Management Master Plan.My work includes:- setting goals and objectives for existing programs, and research and development of new programs - communications planning and executing on meaningful promotion and engagement with the public to achieve desired behaviour change- developing strategies for reduction, reuse, recycling, and advocacy initiatives- manage projects including waste composition audits and curbside inspections - provide day-to-day oversight of co-operative learning and seasonal staff Show less

Sustainable Transportation Coordinator

In this role, I coordinated the development and implementation of sustainable transportation programs, projects and initiatives that work toward reaching the City's goal to achieve net zero carbon while enhancing community health and wellness, and reducing the mode share of daily trips made by personal vehicle.
