I'm a member of the Northeastern Baja SAE team. We design a build a motorized off-road vehicle that competes in a number of events against other teams from all over the globe. I currently hold the title "Chassis Design Lead", which I earned in September of 2022. My responsibilities on the team currently encapsulate designing the chassis and it's sub-components and it's welding jig, manufacturing vehicle parts, leading design research and data collection and analysis for the chassis, delegating to chassis sub-team members, and welding parts. I have competency on the TIG welder, the mill and the lathe. I am also a driver, having competed and won 3rd in acceleration and 1st in endurance events at the Oktobajafest competition at Clarkson University in October of 2022.

In my first co-op as a Project Engineer on the Play-Doh team, my role included modifying product designs to optimize cost and efficiency of the plastic injection molding process, leading costing and feasibility analyses for over 30 Target, Costco, Amazon and Walgreens retailer exclusive products, collaboration with cross-functional teams to determine the feasibility of projects, modifying product specifications to coordinate with the SRP of the product, presenting products to the higher-ups for milestone approval, leading weekly engineering meetings and open discussions, and removed and swapped product components to comply with new EU microplastic regulations. Overall, I extremely valued my time at Hasbro as I learned more about manufacturing within the space of 6 months than I could ever dream.
