At the beginning of 2003 Shandwick International formally merged all its trading companies into one to form Weber Shandwick Ltd. Prior to the merger each company had a very different financial process that needed to be reviewed and restructured for efficiency and consistency throughout. I was initially employed to review, identify and actively work to rectify the issues causing exposure against the Business P&L’s of operating profit . As a result, the Business Management teams were formed to provide a loyal partnership with each area of the Business. It was a huge success. The CMG Group was set up and under all its agencies the same financial model was implemented including Octagon Sports Marketing which i later took on in addition.
