I provide ad copy, SEO copy, editing, storyboard proofing, web content, social media content, creative writing, listicles, articles... well, you get it. My academic background in cognitive neuroscience supplied me with the skills needed to write professionally and scientifically, while my experience as a performer and music manager has gifted me with social media stratagem and personable marketing prowess. I love to play with words, but I'm passionate about *winning* with words: that means clients, sales, investments, and even just clicks. A win for me is a win for you! Show less

Trouble with copy? Editorial need editing? Resume too blasé? Whether you're worried about how you come off in an important email, afraid your thesis will be flagged for improper citations, or just sick of rereading the content you've spent weeks writing—run it by me! I can slay superfluous content in the blink of an eye, and you won't even notice it's gone. I can make a resume look so strong that you'll check yourself for abs. I can put tired words to rest, tone tone, bedazzle with proper punctuation... most importantly, I will never alter your voice. All edited scripts are returned in threes: you'll receive the original, a second copy highlighting all changes, and the newly improved revision. Show less

    • Event DJ
      • 2014 - Oct 2020

When asked, I am happy to DJ events. I have always dreamed of being a soundtrack designer; I find that choosing the right song for every moment is like completing an atmospheric puzzle. I have been hired to DJ at weddings, parties, bars, and restaurants—indoor and outdoor. Though equipment must be supplied, I am comfortable utilizing turntables and supplying vinyl records, as well as setting up PAs and speakers to create the appropriate surround sound experience for any environment. If the gig does not involve records, I will prepare a series of playlists unique to your event to PULL from—not to let play idly. Every moment counts! Show less

    • Bartender
      • Jul 2019 - Mar 2020

MetroFresh Midtown has been a solid success for years in Virginia Highlands. When Mitchell, the owner, decided to open a second location with a full bar, he put my close friend Cooper in charge as bar manager. This was his dream, so I knew I had to help! Before opening in August, I set up the espresso bar while Cooper worked on the booze. I was essentially employed as a technician before opening: I applied my expertise to fine-tuning the pressure and settings of the Nuova and grinders, as well as ordering the necessary barista accessories. I also trained the new barista staff. Upon opening, I primarily worked as a bartender. Serving unique, specialty cocktails designed by Cooper alongside "Classy Classics" and personally selected beer and wine, we created a top-of-the-line establishment. I left MetroFresh once the bar was up and running, but I'm proud to have been part of its foundation and help it take off! Show less

      • Jul 2017 - Mar 2020

Since 1992, Aurora Coffee in Little 5 Points has been Atlanta's favorite independent caffeine institution. I'm proud to rock the beans here as a Batdorf & Bronson certified barista. Barista position involves personally crafting 100% of beverages alongside one cashier. This establishment has very loyal regulars as well as VERY high customer turnover, and our staff provides outstandingly fast service without sacrificing friendly rapport. Each two person team swiftly conquers leagues of tourists, neighborhood disturbances, and any business obstacle you can imagine whilst simultaneously memorizing hundreds of drink orders (face it, we've won your heart and you'll be back); churning out perfectly drawn, stock-photo quality latte art; and keeping the shop sparkling and stocked. • Designed and hand-painted the main menu. • Designed and produced merchandise. • Created promotional materials and built eye-catching displays to increase sales. • Managed the business Instagram. • Implemented the sale of reusable metal straws to reduce waste and improve green footprint. • Trained new employees in operational procedures and modeled duties for front and back house positions. • Coached staff on strategies and product knowledge to enhance performance and improve customer relations. • Received barista certification to dis- and reassemble espresso machine for cleaning and maintenance. • Became a master of microfoam pouring and latte art. • Prepared and served specialty coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas. Invented and promoted new beverages. Show less

Walker's specializes in quality espresso drinks, cocktails, and craft beer. It is located directly across the street from the arches at the University of Georgia and is technically the closest bar in proximity to the acclaimed school. My position involves opening the shop and preparing all types of beverages to a vast clientele in a fast-paced environment. I contribute to Walker's outstanding sense of community by connecting with regular customers and memorizing their drink orders, as well as encouraging new faces to feel welcome and comfortable. https://www.facebook.com/WalkersPub/ Show less

Church Murch was the spin-off boutique of the famed Sister Louisa's Church of the Living Room and Ping Pong Emporium. I worked as the guardian and saleswoman of Sister Louisa's paintings, vintage clothes, retro furniture, and miscellaneous merchandise. I worked alone from open to close with full creative authority to arrange inventory and decorate the shop. The owner/artist, Grant Henry, decided to close the shop soon after hiring me, but said that I was the best and most lucrative salesperson he's ever had. https://www.sisterlouisaschurch.com/ Show less

I took over the rest of the term for an absent teacher and taught art classes at this Montessori school. Unlike my prior experience as an art teacher at a public school, these classes were comprised of only five students and occurred 2-3 days a week. Without curriculum, I had complete creative control and greatly enjoyed designing and improvising assignments!
