  Hi! I worked at a unique summer camp run through The Pathfinder School in Traverse City, Michigan. I went to the Pathfinder School from Kindergarten through middle school and wanted to give back to my alma mater by working as a counselor over the summer. Pathfinder's 22 acres of woods and waterfront make it unique and allow the campers to explore and learn about nature. Each week the counselors made exciting lesson plans each week tailored to our campers' specific interests and skills is one of my main tasks. These programs seek to educate as well as stimulate creativity and curiosity within nature. I provide a dynamic learning environment that inspires campers to explore their potential, acquire new skills, and form enduring friendships via a combination of hands-on activities, engaging conversations, and team-building exercises. I was thrilled to have the chance to have a positive influence on young people's lives and cultivate in them a passion for learning that will last long after the summer camp is over. Show less
