Massage Therapist
-
Aug 2010 - Sep 2016
I was trained primarily in Shiatsu massage, a Japanese chiropractic technique that utilizes a combination of deep pressure points and stretches to break apart referred pain patterns. The style I have developed over three years of experience combines Swedish, Shiatsu, and deep tissue techniques with hot stones to sequentially soften and separate muscle regions and get to the root of the problem. As a runner and a yoga instructor, I am able to communicate effectively with athletes, and have an intuition that is informed by my own sports injuries. Show less
