iFLY is the experiential entertainment company that created modern indoor skydiving. iFly developed the vertical wind tunnel technology allowing guests to experience the feeling of simulated freefall as they float on a smooth cushion of air. iFly's Mission: To deliver the dream of flight to everyone. As STEM Educator at iFly, my mission is to link today’s youth to promising future careers in STEM by offering participatory, hands-on full-body learning that converts classroom theory to real-world applications of STEM in a way no other field trip can. I introduce students to the engineering that created indoor flight simulation and to the physics concepts that govern bodyflight, then guide them through lab activities that reinforce these concepts. Finally, students fly in the tunnel for a truly immersive STEM experience. Show less
