Flying Trapeze Instructor

Dallas Circus Center is a recreational flying trapeze and circus arts school with classes open to the public. Typical trapeze classes include ground school, flying instruction and a chance to be caught by a professional catcher. DCC has an indoor facility with a full-sized flying trapeze rig with professional dimensions and 40+ foot high aerial points. My role at DCC is to provide safe instruction for flying trapeze classes and assist with equipment maintenance, rigging and the training of other instructors. In addition to local classes, I contract through DCC to inspect rigging and provide instructor training at third-party locations around the globe. Show less

At Hockaday, I taught 7th and 8th grade science classes an integrated curriculum that incorporates biology, chemistry, physics, computer science and engineering into a project-based approach to studying the Earth Science realms of the Atmosphere and the Biosphere, respectively. I also substituted in afterschool programs in Lower School (Happy Happenings and Daisy Afternoons), Middle School (Daisy Den), and Upper School (weekend Dorm Mom). Show less

The Valentine's Mighty American Circus is a traditional traveling family circus bringing daring and inspiring acts from around the world to venues across the United States. I traveled with the Valentine's Mighty American Circus for 5 months, producing over 100 shows in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona.
