In this role I was responsible for developing partnerships between SOMA and school-districts across Massachusetts. I facilitated two district level partnerships with Boston and Lawrence Public Schools. I composed a Memorandum of Understanding and negotiated terms that produced a first-of-its-kind three-year partnership agreement.Additional highlights:- Delivered a presentation on community engagement and partnership development at the Special Olympics North America conference, which was voted “Best Presentation” by attendees- Executed the inaugural Unified Sports event at Harvard University for 400 Boston Public School students

My climb up the ranks at Scholar Athletes provided an all encompassing understanding and application of non-profit management; from direct service youth development, program design, to leading a 40 person staff, stakeholder engagement, HR management, data evaluation, marketing/development and fundraising. Scholar Athletes Inc. was a philanthropic initiative of Suffolk Construction that provided academic, health/wellness, and college/career services for 4,500 (yearly avg.) high school student athletes in Boston, Springfield and Everett Public Schools.

Created and scaled Scholar Athletes Intramural sports programming throughout 18 Boston Public Schools, 4 Springfield Public Schools, and Everett High School, resulting in 125 intramural and fitness programs with 2,500 participants over a span of 6 school years.
