Maciej is a talented mission analysis engineer and team lead with both good interpersonal skills and a good sense for how to best implement complicated aerospace engineering analyses. When I started at SatRev, Maciej and I decided to create a mission analysis team. The team would be responsible for both early conceptual analyses of new satellite concepts and specialized analyses at various points in the design cycle (comms, power, radiation, thermal and more). I threw a lot of tasks on Maciej's shoulders to do this. He handled them all with competence and professionalism. I'll call out two qualities that made Maciej particularly effective: 1) He knows how to properly balance analysis complexity with organizational deadlines. I remember w few instances where he skillfully guided the team to deliver an on-time report without sacrificing the larger goal of developing a more advanced tool set. He didn't rush and make a throw-away, one-off analysis. He also didn't try to make the perfect analysis tool right away, delaying any reports in the process. He always found a way to advance the teams capabilities incrementally while still delivering timely results. 2) He is a master at negotiating with team members, customers and management to create a realistic analysis plan. In addition to technical know-how, Maciej also worked brilliantly with everyone to manage expectations and deliver results that allowed projects to progress. I'd recommend Maciej to anyone looking for a solid engineering analysis team lead, especially for any spacecraft engineering project.

At Kongsberg NanoAvionics I am working in the Sales Systems Engineering team, which means that I am responsible for the project's preliminary design during its pre-contractual phase. On a daily basis, I work with many people across multiple disciplines: business developers, team managers, and merit experts to find out what will be the optimal solution for a particular mission. My responsibilities include: analyzing RFI/RFP documents delivered by the clients, preparing all technical analyses (power, mass, link budgets etc.), leading technical negotiations and supporting the preparation of the proposals. Besides the technical part of the proposal very important aspect of my work is dealing with the timelines of the proposed projects which involves handling the needs, expectations and capabilities of different stakeholders like managing customers' needs and expectations with internal capabilities and project queues. Mar 2022 - Mar 2023
As a team leader, I am also responsible for managing the team of four engineers in the newly established Mission Analysis Team. I am responsible for preparing the workflow, designing the processes and task managing with still ongoing mission analysis engineer responsibilities. The team, I am leading, is responsible for preparing mission concepts with further detailed design and providing insight into the complex problems the R&D department is facing. We prepare the substantive input into the governmental founded projects and client offers prepared by the Revenue Department. We are preparing a set of custom analysis tools to automate the process of repetitive concept preparations, also. However, besides the managing duties, I am still responsible for mission planning and orbital mechanics calculations. It involves, both complex analysis and design of missions with help of analytical methods and highly specialized software such as Systems Tools Kit by Analytical Graphics, Inc. (an Ansys company) and General Mission Analysis Tool by Goddard Space Flight Center NASA. I work also as a member of the Systems Engineering Team on requirements preparation and coordination of designs of each particular submodule. As a team leader, I gained further responsibilities at the company management level. I am involved in the setting of short and long-distance technical goals and ongoing work assessment of the rest of the teams. To my duties belong maintaining close, ongoing relationships with the rest of the teams in all companies departments to help in their work by providing data for additional insight into the problem as much as improving the Mission Analysis Team procedures and abilities in face of new challenges. I was responsible for mission planning and orbital mechanics calculations. It involved especially, both complex analysis and design of missions with help of analytical methods and highly specialized software such as Systems Tools Kit by Analytical Graphics, Inc. (an Ansys company) and General Mission Analysis Tool by Goddard Space Flight Center NASA.My duties also included complex design and development of various satellite structures and mechanical subsystems, 2D engineering drawing preparation and cooperation with manufacturing companies during the production process. As a part of the mechanical engineering department, I was also directly involved in the satellite assembly and testing process. Since the internal policy was to create and maintain a task team responsible for each satellite integration I was directly involved in two satellite integrations as a primary mechanical engineer and as a secondary to the rest.
