Macey Wythe, Senior Director of Children’s Programs, has been employed at Gulf Coast JFCS since December 2012. Ms. Wythe began her career at the agency as the Safe at Home-Hillsborough Diversion Director and now provides oversight to all Gulf Coast JFCS diversion programs in Pasco, Central Florida, and Hillsborough Counties. In addition, Ms. Wythe also has oversight of some of our agency non-child welfare programs to include Violence Prevention, Good Afternoon Friends and Amigos and the Woman to Woman program. Ms. Wythe began her career in Child Welfare with the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office Child Protection Division in 2000. She has almost 20 years’ experience working in the Child Welfare system, leading investigations, serving as a CPI Supervisor, and overseeing diversion programs. Ms. Wythe earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Family and Child Studies from Georgia Southern University and she maintains her Child Welfare Certification in the state of Florida.
