  Yidan Prize is the largest educational prize in the world established in 2016, with a mission to create a better world through education. The Prize gives out two awards annually: Yidan Prize for Education Research and Yidan Prize for Education Development. Each Yidan Prize Laureate receives a gold medal and a total sum of HK$30 million (US$3.9 million) including a cash prize of HK$15 million (US$1.9 million) and a project fund of HK$15 million.• One of the four founding staff in supporting the launch of the Yidan Prize in May 2016.• Engaging the potential members of the Advisory Committee and Judging Committee, including but not limited to representatives from the United Nations, World Bank, academia and education practitioners. Extending invitation on behalf of the foundation to get them involved in the Committee even before the official launching of the Yidan Prize.• Representing the foundation as guest speaker of international, regional and local forum or conference, whenever possible, to introduce the Yidan Prize to various stakeholders in the field of education as well as the community. Have been speaking in Taiwan, Singapore and Finland so far.• Outreaching to potential nominators, nominating organizations and partners to ensure a sustainable pool of high quality nominees.• Facilitating the nomination and judging process to ensure all the procedures are following the established rules and guidelines.• Monitoring and providing necessary support to laureates’ projects in a 3 consecutive year timeline. • Maintaining close relationship with committee members, laureates and all other local and internal and global stakeholders, including but not limited to nominators, supporters, university presidents, government officials. • Initiating, setting goals, timeline and KPI for programs according to the strategic objectives of the foundation and devising evaluation strategies to monitor performance and determine the need for improvements.   The Foundation, which is part of the HK Federation of Youth Groups, was established in 2000. It runs a series of annual programs so that young Chinese leaders from around the world are provided with opportunities to meet, explore topical global issues and exchange ideas, thereby building a network among themselves. The Foundation organizes lectures, visits and forums, creating synergy and stimulus for future leaders. The key programs are the Dragon 100 and Global Citizenship Program. • Set up new collaboration with Stanford University to launch a tailor-made certificate program for local undergraduates, which was the first time the University offer certificate program for non – degree holder. • Launched the inaugural “Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum” in 2014 with 400 participants coming from 23 countries or regions and 20 guest speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Mainland China and Hong Kong. • Successfully organized 6 fundraising events, including charity golf and gala premiere which raised over $4M in total. Attending Guests include Chief Executive of HKSAR, Secretaries of Departments and many other principal officials. Total number of participants reached 3000. • Annually lead a study tour of 100 worldwide young Chinese to different parts of Mainland China to explore its recent development and deepen participants understanding of Chinese culture. Arranged programs include meeting with government officials, company visits, and exchange with local students or young entrepreneurs. • Lead 3 exchange tours, each of 30 local undergraduate students to Bangkok, New York and San Francisco for 3 consecutive years since 2011 to foster their concept of global citizenship. • Regularly liaise and coordinate with over 400 partnering organizations and institutions, both local and overseas on program arrangement and explore mutual support opportunities. • Maintained close contact with over 3000 members from 37 regions and countries.   Working at the Secretariat of The Environment and Conservation Fund (ECF) which was established under the Environment and Conservation Fund Ordinance in 1994. As part of HKSAR Government’s long-term commitment to environmental protection and conservation, the ECF supports non-profit organizations (NPO) to conduct various green projects and activities. • Oversaw the ECF which has a reserve of over HK$200 Million. • Organized the first community sharing session on ECF application process and sharing of successful projects.   The Environmental Campaign Committee (ECC) has been set up since 1990 to promote public awareness of environmental issues and encourage the public to contribute actively towards a better environment. Committee members are appointed by the Chief Executive. Representatives of relevant government departments, including the Environmental Protection Department, also sit on the Committee. Since its establishment, the ECC has planned and organized many environmental events and activities for different sectors of the community. Job responsibilities include: • Assisted in preparing the summary for vetting of Environmental Education and Community Action (ECCA) Projects. • Conducted site inspection and prepared progress and completion report for over 10 ECCA projects. • Provided logistics support for Committee’s meeting. • Promoted to the position of Executive Assistant at Environmental Protection Department after working for 5 months.
