      Yidan Prize is the largest educational prize in the world established in 2016, with a mission to create a better world through education. The Prize gives out two awards annually: Yidan Prize for Education Research and Yidan Prize for Education Development. Each Yidan Prize Laureate receives a gold medal and a total sum of HK$30 million (US$3.9 million) including a cash prize of HK$15 million (US$1.9 million) and a project fund of HK$15 million.• One of the four founding staff in supporting the launch of the Yidan Prize in May 2016.• Engaging the potential members of the Advisory Committee and Judging Committee, including but not limited to representatives from the United Nations, World Bank, academia and education practitioners.       The Foundation, which is part of the HK Federation of Youth Groups, was established in 2000. It runs a series of annual programs so that young Chinese leaders from around the world are provided with opportunities to meet, explore topical global issues and exchange ideas, thereby building a network among themselves. The Foundation organizes lectures, visits and forums, creating synergy and stimulus for future leaders. The key programs are the Dragon 100 and Global Citizenship Program. • Set up new collaboration with Stanford University to launch a tailor-made certificate program for local undergraduates, which was the first time the University offer certificate program for non – degree holder. • Launched the inaugural “Global Youth Entrepreneurs Forum” in 2014 with 400 participants coming from 23 countries or regions and 20 guest speakers from the United States, United Kingdom, Mainland China and Hong Kong. • Successfully organized 6 fundraising events, including charity golf and gala premiere which raised over $4M in total. Attending Guests include Chief Executive of HKSAR, Secretaries of Departments and many other principal officials. Total number of participants reached 3000. • Annually lead a study tour of 100 worldwide young Chinese to different parts of Mainland China to explore its recent development and deepen participants understanding of Chinese culture.
