Expanded LitWorld literacy and resilience building program into Colombia. Identified, assessed capacity, and built relationships with potential LitWorld partner organizations. Developed partnership agreements, trained LitWorld mentors from partner organizations and developed program plans for launch and ongoing program implementation. Led capacity building activities, including facilitating LitWorld sessions in collaboration with LitClub partners in Colombia. Facilitated follow up discussions between LitWorld staff and Colombian partners to build mentor and organizational capacity to address any challenges and to maintain and grow the new programs. Results: Developed partnerships with three local nonprofit organizations and two government agencies to implement a literacy program for vulnerable children in different regions in Colombia. Eighty percent of participants improved their academic performance and were promoted to high school. - Managed program goals and workflow to improve staff performance.
