  Plant concepts | Land restoration | Agroforestry As a plant enthusiast I have always been fascinated by the vivid colours, delicious smell and elegant shapes of plants. My passion for plants continued to grow when I, as a biologist, learned about their life supporting functions and vital role in maintaining a prosperous society. During a project for the European Commission on indirect land use change effects resulting from the EU’s biofuel targets, I realised how much the world can benefit (economically, socially and environmentally) from land restoration and reforestation activities. The wish to reap the benefits of land restoration and the joy of sharing fascinating stories about plants culminated in MountGreen. A platform-under-construction where innovative plant concepts are used to create awareness and secure financial means for land restoration. MountGreen's first product is a 3D-printed bio-based plant pot that is wrapped in a robust window packaging for home delivery of plants by regular mail. Show less
