Performing scientific research as a postdoctoral researcher and project leader on the following projects: 1. Advancing Care coordination and Telehealth deployment (ACT)@Scale. This rewarded EU Health Programma project is coordinated by Philips (Germany) and aims to implement and scale up successful e-health initiatives throughout Europe (start 2016) Within the project the UMCG coordinates the work package 'Sustainability and Business Models'. CONNECARE This rewarded Horizon 2020 project is coordinated by BDigital (Spain) and aims to develop, evaluate and implement an e-Health decision support system for chronic care (start 2016). Within the project the UMCG functions as testing site for several clinical trials to be performed with the ICT management system. This rewarded project is coordinated by the Academic Medical Center (AMC) Amsterdam (Netherlands) and aims to the develop a roadmap for the set-up and implementation of eHealth (start 2016). Within the project the UMCG brings in projects to improve the interconnectivity between end users and professionals and improve selfmanagement abilities of patient and/or elderly citizens.
