I work in a medical-surgical unit that specializes on general surgeries, neurosurgeries and spine surgeries. My unit is also stroke certified where we are are required to do NIHSS certification. I'm also crossed trained to joint unit that handles hip, knee and shoulder surgeries. I also do back up charge nurse in my unit.
