  As a cost accountant we normally check the material and labour cost incurred in every job that production finished. We investigate the reasons for any variances might it be small differences by asking the production supervisor and/or manager and checking of if there's a variances in unit cost and if there's wrong with planning. Also we prepare accruals for partial shipped jobs and help providing details needed in labour and overhead entries and reports.
