DG) in EU, Asia and MEA assisting and advising our customers (affiliates in Venezuela) as our forwarders, vendors, shipping lines and customs brokers according to agreements and purchase order to get the material to the end users in Venezuela in the most cost effective, timely and safe way by selecting and analyzing/evaluating shipping methods (MOT) -Contact freight forwarders to request quotations and evaluate shipping methods / shipping opportunities and examining alternative routes according to PO and requirements (Incoterms). -Monitor and report the performance of forwarders, carriers and service companies such us customs brokers and shipping-lines; special freight agreements, arrangements and agreements for loading and discharging, Ro-Ro Shipping's, overland carriage, general cargo and heavy lift carriers, haulage and warehousing, chartering of air-crafts, administration and follow up on claims. -Screening new placed orders for any irregularities and to identify any logistical obstacles in advance. -Register material received at the forwarder and control the timely distribution of shipping documents. -Instruct, monitor and adjust forwarders, vendors and other companies (including shipping lines) to execute their tasks at high standard of quality. -Check and register invoices from forwarders.
