Partnered with our outside legal counsel to change the tax status of the Foundation from a private foundation to a public charity. Researched and retained a consultant to assist us with establishing a volunteer based, operating model. Implemented this model by recruiting 6 committee chairs. Partnered with each committee chair to recruit their respective committee members. At the end of 12 months the Board had been expanded to 25 members, 6 committee chairs had been recruited and 57 committee members had been brought on board. Simultaneously, we launched the first ever employee giving campaign and exceeded our first year participation goal of 60%. The funds raised from this campaign were used to start a new program for the hospital employees. The program was designed to assist our employees with monetary grants if they or their families were going through a difficult time, financially. Our first annual project provided electronic device charging stations throughout the hospital and clinics. Lastly, each committee had selected their first campaign project and had begun planning and preparations for the launch dates. All of this was accomplished within my first 16 months. Show less
