Climate Project Leader
-
Aug 2022 - Present
Growing my expertise in sustainability and project management, I am a climate project leader for a South-Miami based climate organization. In only a few months, I've revamped nursery operations, planned fundraising and community events, developed SOPs, managed weekly climate projects, and increased the organization's tech capacity. Digital Maps & Media Developer

May 2020 - Present
Mosqoy is a Cusco-based organization working to empower local cultural practices. I created GIS-based maps and digital visual content that was published with funding by National Geographic. This initial project, linked below and led by Ashli Akins, has been selected in the first cohort of National Geographic's new Impact Story Lab. I'll be working with Nat Geo cartographers to design and illustrate art maps for storytelling and continue promoting culturally, economically, socially and environmentally responsible tourism.

Graduate Research And Teaching Assistant

Aug 2019 - Aug 2022
Educator, teaching assistant, guest lecturer and published researcher at the University of Miami's Abess Center for Ecosystem Science & Policy. Alongside environmental law professor Jessica Owley, I published research on the regulatory framework of pesticide use in cannabis agriculture and its impact on human and environmental health as legalization in the US advances. “Pesticides and Marijuana: Uncertain Impacts on the Environment, Workers, and Consumers”, was presented at Arizona State University’s Seventh Annual Sustainability Conference of American Legal Educators in May 2022, and at the Vermont Law School in September of 2022. I was also a teaching assistant and guest lecturer for two years, covering biology, environmental research methods, and ecology classes for undergraduates.
