  I am a social development professional, educationist and a University of Cambridge CELTA certified Professional English Language Teacher. Presently, I am working as a freelance consultant. I also worked as Faculty Member and Secretary, Sindh Judicial Academy, High Court of Sindh. I taught here Legal English to Judicial Officers of trial courts, police officers and public prosecutors. I did my post-graduation in English (Linguistics) from University of Karachi and M. Phil (Education) from Iqra University, Karachi. I also got international qualification from University of McGill Canada, LUMS and University of Cambridge, UK. While at Institute for Educational Development – Aga Khan University (IED-AKU), I worked with Aga Khan Educational Institutions in Gilgit Baltistan as a Researcher. My professional experience spans over more than Twenty years. I got my professional training from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and the University of McGill, Canada. I got opportunities to work for mainstreaming women in development, where I worked Aurat Foundation (Women Rights Organization), where I learnt the importance of Political Rights of Women in Society. I also got the opportunities to work with Provincial Ombudsman Sindh (POS) as Consultant, where I developed Standard Operating Procedures for POS and Children’s Complaint Office, established at POS. I have travelled across Pakistan and worked with communities; Gilgit and Hunza to the poorest of the poor inhabitants of desert region; Tharparkar. I gained firsthand experience of working with the most deserving people of Pakistan and learnt about the miseries and real-life issues of those communities.
