      Worked closely with various technical and non-technical teams, customers and OEMs to support aircraft turbofan engines coming through the GE Wales Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility. My daily duties involved: - Technical Assessment and Evaluation of Incoming Engine Condition. - Supporting Engine Investigations to identify root cause. - Facilitating analysis and mitigation of recurring technical issues affecting engines in shop. - Working with various OEMs to maximize module and part serviceability through component repair and Engine Service Manual revisions in order to minimize disassembly and cost without compromising on safety. Some projects I worked on include: - Mitigation of a major cost driver affecting the CFM56 engine line through the introduction of a new Wet Assembly aid. - Tooling design to support repair of GE90 Compressor Blades. - Automation and standardized template improvements to support recurring tasks, enabling significant accuracy and improvements whilst reducing the time taken to complete these tasks.
