Maja Tønning
I worked with Laerke while she was in Nairobi with the IFRC and especially related to the portfolio on Cash and Voucher Assistance (CVA) (which I coordinated for the Africa region at the time). Laerke was always ready for a challenge and was a fast learner on CVA. She among other led a design workshop with Somalia Red Crescent, where she heavily influenced the inclusion of quality CVA preparedness and response activities. She's got a critical eye and quickly spots areas for improvement and attention, which was impressive!

Besides this we have worked together for the past year teaching at the interprofessional course at Copenhagen University College where we have done peer-to-peer workshops.
