I have been involved with setting up clinical studies from initial concept to authoring documentation, gaining ethical approvals, participant recruitment and data collection. I have published on clinical data and clinical findings on specialist services within the radiotherapy department. Skills: Ability to plan for the future, putting new developments from concept into practice, developing and training others in change, managing resistance to change, excellent communication with all staff levels, upper management as well as stakeholders. My role as deputy manager meant dealing with budgets and supporting both the workforce and Radiotherapy Manager. Extensive experience in selection and hiring of staff, dealing with staff attrition to ensure smooth running of the department.
