Supersonic Playground is a digital development agency specialising in the design and development of WordPress websites. The in-house team work through UX/UI, client side and server-side development, QA and project management. I was the day-to-day contact for all the agency’s clients and given the diverse range of clients, no two days were the same! As with my role at Sagittarius I had daily contact with the clients at Supersonic Playground to ensure we were meeting their expectations and delivering on the project brief. I enjoyed working with the clients to tease out the project briefs at the beginning of the relationship and then seeing that project through to delivery. I also undertook user research for two of our clients; working with the clients to pull together a plan to test their sites with their customers, devising questions and tasks, carrying out the video interviewees and then writing up my findings and recommendations for improvements. I was an account manager at Sagittarius responsible for the design and build projects for BDR Thermea, Baxi Heating UK (and sub-brands), Brakes Catering Equipment L&Q Housing and Sunrise Senior Living. I worked closely with my clients to understand their marketing objectives and how the work we delivered for them would impact their business. I took time to understand their business, products and services so I could really integrate myself into their team and help deliver successful web based projects. I worked closely with the team leads at Sagittarius to put proposals and estimates together and, once signed off, work with my project managers to plan the project, discuss objectives and brief the wider team. I also monitored and maintained the budget and invoicing for the accounts to ensure we stuck to budget and deadlines. Show less

I was the main contact for the adidas team for the ongoing roll-out of their apparel and footwear concepts in all JD Sports in Western Europe and have recently been involved in installations in South Korea, Malaysia and the USA. I undertook site surveys, project briefs, client meetings and all aspects of project and client management. I helped to monitor stock levels and worked with the client to put together batch orders for future planned roll outs. I raised orders through the ERP system M3 and worked closely with our production managers and warehouse managers in our UK and Czech offices and warehouses to ensure orders were processed and ready as and when the client needed. I worked with external teams on kit installations and electrical work, whilst attending and helping onsite when needed. Show less

I head up the ISO 9001 and health and safety programmes to ensure they work inline with the agency's existing procedures and objectives. I was promoted from Production Assistant to Production Manager in June 2007 and took over responsibility for the management of the on and offline design and development teams.I was responsible for the day to day running of the teams, scheduling all projects, handling billing and budgets. The role was very challenging and I helped me develop my skills and knowledge especially in the online department.

I started at Adams Creative as the receptionist and PA to then Managing Director Mike Adams. As the receptionist I was able to see how each department within the agency worked and speak to all of the clients and suppliers. It really helped me to decide how I wanted my career to progress and develop within Adams Creative and the marketing industry. After two years as the agency receptionist and PA, I was able to move up and become the Business Development Assistant. I was responsible for the diaries of the two business development managers and pulled together information and proposals for meetings with new and existing clients. From working in the business development team I found that I loved the planning and development of the accounts but the closing of deals wasn't where my skills were best put. So in order to continue my progression within the agency I moved over to the production team.As the Production Assistant I worked closely with the business development managers, designers, developers and PR team planning projects, completing paperwork and assisting the department managers with the day to day running of their departments. I learnt a lot about quoting and scheduling projects and how the agency works. Show less
