  I run a successful Education provision in Nottingham for mainly KS4 but we have some KS3 as well. I taught in FE for 16 years then project managed their CoVE (Centre of Vocational Excellence) with a budget of £1,000,000. I then went into Business Development until I finally took voluntary redundancy in 2008. I set up my own company and worked as a Lead Assessor for the then new Diploma covering the 7 key sectors for Nottingham city, Leicestershire, Rutland, Broxtowe and Mansfield. When the new government abandoned this I continued to work as a consultant for Nottingham City Council as a quality assurance manager for their 57 alternative provisions. However, it was the time when the government introduced cuts to local authorities and eventually the 14-19 team I was part of was disbanded. Since then I have successfully worked in AP's in Nottingham. As I live in Derby I would welcome the opportunity to work there if any of you are aware of a suitable vacancy. Show less
