  I worked for Amazon as an operations leadership intern and evaluated bottlenecks on the inbound receive-dock, working to implement new layouts and procedures for continuous process improvement. For example, I identified inconsistencies in the process of receiving damaged items and created a standardized procedure that reduced the cost and cycle time, saving 20 labor hours per day. I also participated in daily deep-dives with all management teams to tackle problems and generate ideas for different departments within the fulfillment center. I gained leadership experience by leading the inbound receive-dock shift and managing 80 associates, creating the prior-day and start-of-shift plans, and executing critical labor moves.

  I worked in the Li & Fung Beauty Group as a supply chain intern. During my internship, I determined the root cause of inconsistencies in LTC load calculations and developed conversion tables in excel to correct rate computations for the freight calculator. I analyzed sales and operation information for all LF Beauty clients and created a comprehensive format for a smooth SOP transition to the Hong Kong team. I gained leadership experience by leading an intern team consisting of four separate Li & Fung divisions to fully develop a rapid prototype for increasing meeting efficiency and effectiveness. I also managed business relations by communicating with clients and suppliers daily to track order and inventory management.
