I have known Lyle for 8 years and worked directly with him for 7. I initially recruited Lyle because of his experience, likability, varied background, and excellent education. What I had hoped Lyle would be, I quickly learned he was more than. Lyle is that oft sought, but rarely found, individual who mixes technical, financial, and operational knowledge with the ability to translate that into results - year-over-year. Lyle had no sales background when I hired him, but he has grown his market through direct sales (and customer service) by both selling and managing salespeople, to deliver top line growth. He understands cost and profit as well, and is driven to achieve. His management style is honest, kind, and appropriately confrontational of root issues - he has an instinct of when to apply stick and carrot, and is respected for that. Lyle is a great professional asset, and an even better friend. He is certainly someone I would consider for any role that requires energy and professionalism, and that truly requires responsibly sourced results from a good man.
