Zanetti Productions presents innovative and ground-breaking creativity, with a focus on celebrating work that invigorates social change, celebrates otherness and sends audiences out into the world with a spark in their heart. Led by Lydia Zanetti, Zanetti Productions has quickly established itself as one of the most recognised and respected producing houses in New Zealand. In 2018/19 Zanetti Productions is presenting a plethora of artists in both Aotearoa New Zealand and overseas including: Julia Croft & Nisha Madhan/Virginia Frankovich’s Power Ballad; Working On My Night Moves; If There's Not Dancing at the Revolution, I’m Not Coming, Medusa; Trick of the Light's The Road That Wasn't There; Eleanor Bishop's Jane Doe; Eleanor & Karin McCracken’s Yes Yes Yes; Julia, Eleanor & Karin’s Body Double; Anya Tate-Manning & Isobel MacKinnon's My Best Dead Friend; Stella Reid, Jane Yonge, Oliver Morse & Thomas Lambert's The Basement Tapes; Wilson Dixon; Johanna Cosgrove’s Aunty; as well as major cultural events such as Auckland Fringe. Tours include to Imaginate Children’s Theatre Festival, Battersea Arts Centre, Cultch (Vancouver), Blue Room (Perth), Esplanade (Singapore), Auckland Arts Festival & Summerhall. In 2018 alone, Zanetti Productions had 50 opening nights and over 30% of our presentations outside of Aotearoa. In 2019 we are on track for 54 opening nights already. This highlights the effect ZP has on the industry in NZ, and the outreach it is facilitating to the world. Lydia has been to Edinburgh Festival Fringe for the last 5 years - including as a producer of 3 shows & associate producer on 3 more (2017), and as producer of the sold out Fringe First winner The Basement Tapes (2018). Zanetti Productions returns to Edinburgh in 2019 with 3 shows & in association with 1 more. Historically, ZP has also worked w/ Rose Matafeo, Michael Parmenter, Victor Rodger, Binge Culture, James Nokise, Donna Brookbanks & Auckland Theatre Awards. Show less

Auckland Fringe is a feistily independent open-access arts festival which runs in Auckland for a summery two weeks kicking off in late February. Open to anyone who wants to be involved, Auckland Fringe is all about inclusivity, celebration of otherness and having a dang good time in this wonderful city of ours. From main-stage theatres to rivers, dancing with cats to Roman recreations (and more!) Fringe is here to showcase the best of Auckland’s incredible arts scene, as well as a bunch of international goodness. And historically 35% of the events are free or koha - so it won’t even break the bank! In 2017, Auckland Fringe activated 39 spaces and hosted 123 separate events, shaking their tail feathers for 21 days straight. And now, for the first time, we're going annual! We're gearing up for the 2018 Auckland Fringe: Join us in painting the town fluro green from 20th February - 4th March 2018. #AKLfringe www.aucklandfringe.co.nz Show less
