  Under the supervision of an experienced OTR/L, I developed acute care skills in a hospital setting. These skills include 1) interdisciplinary collaboration with physical and speech therapists, nurses, social workers, and doctors; 2) evaluation techniques and clinical documentation skills to create accurate and thorough patient profiles; 3) use of evidence-based research and assessments to evaluate and treat individuals with stroke, altered cognitive status, and other critical conditions.

  I completed an 18 week placement at an outpatient pediatric clinic that allowed me to develop clinical skills to evaluate and treat children with physical, developmental, social, and behavioral delays. I also developed interpersonal skills that allowed me to collaborate with parents as well as physical and speech therapists.
