Community Volunteer Cook
-
Dec 2019 - Feb 2020
This was initially a cultural exchange arrangement made with a co-working hotel through an online travelers platform in which I got to perform customer service oriented tasks as well as sharing with the community some other self-driven volitional activities such as teaching contemporary dance lessons and vegan cooking. As time went on I got more involved in the kitchen as the managers thought that a cook position was a better fit for me. Floating Team Lead Manager
-
Aug 2018 - Sep 2019
As a Team Lead Manager in one of the most profitable pizza chains in the US I was responsible for the Team Member's performance during my shift at whichever store I was assigned for the day. This implicated directing and training of employees to boost performance and enhance business results as well as being ready to take over any position needed at the moment (that could range from customer service to production or cleaning duties). I was also required to make financial reports, bank deposits, refunds, security cash pulls and any other money-related task. As this type of businesses are extremely fast-paced, at my position I was always expected to make fast and effective decisions to strategically reschedule tasks distribution within my crew at the event of any unpredicted circumstances. I was initially hired as a dishwasher at this Korean food restaurant but as the manager considered that I was better fitted at the kitchen, they provided me with the training to make appetizers and side ready-to-go meals by myself during the rush hours at my own work station. I was also required to help with the organizing of food storage, inventory and meal prepping ahead of scheduled open hours. Restaurant Supervisor

Jan 2014 - Apr 2017
In the morning shift I was usually coordinating the front of the house's workers and dealing with customer's special requests. While in the night shift I would rotate between the front desk and the kitchen as that was the rush time frame and required special supervision.
