Jan Ciganick
Luz Perdomo joined us at Moravian College in Spring 2018. She was in my Art History Survey course, Renaissance to Abstraction, during her first semester. From the beginning, I was impressed by Luz' knowledge of, and passion for, the world of art. She has an excellent background in historic and contemporary art and uses this knowledge to enhance her design practice. Luz has consistently maintained a high GPA throughout her time at Moravian. She was inducted into Kappa Pi, the International Arts Honors Fraternity. Her family was hit hard financially by COVID, but she persevered, continuing to work to support her family while maintaining her high academic performance. She completed a marketing minor. She is completing her studies this semester with an internship, and she has a dazzling display of her design skills in our Senior Thesis Exhibition. Her installation was one of the most vivid of all the displays contributed by our strong senior class of design majors. Any organization who is fortunate enough to hire Luz will be gaining a talented designer and a responsible, hard-working , well-rounded individual who is always determined to do her best.
