I work at the Information Systems (IS) Department, College of Information Technology, doing the following: 1. Teaching the lab materials for core courses such as System Analysis and Design, and Visual Basic .NET. 2. Setting the courses that will be given in each semester (Time, Room, Instructor, Demonstrator, Exam Date). Also, Managing the Schedules of the instructors and the demonstrators working in the Department. 3. Handling the Training Students from the beginning of their registration for the Training Course, until they are assigned to a vacancy. Since this whole process is manual, I have automated the course using Google Sites and Documents (https://sites.google.com/site/itbis492/) 4. Manage the Senior Students. Follow up with them during their time in taking the Senior Project Course, and announce all the workshops and updates that they need to know about. In addition, keep up with them for submission and taking their Final Exam. Also, I used Google sites and Documents to build a website for this course (https://sites.google.com/site/itbis499/) 5. Depending on the Department’s need, I sometimes work as a backup secretary to provide support and avoid any delay. 6. For the University website, I have access to update all the information and data about the IS Department. 7. I have participated with our college of Information Technology in the Bahrain International Green Tech-Expo & Forum (BGTE 2012). 8. I created a website for the Greener Smarter ICT Event (https://sites.google.com/site/greenersmarterict/) Show less
