I worked with Lula at Frontline AIDS (formerly the International HIV/AIDS Alliance). She managed several finding proposals for donors such as UNITAID, UNAIDS and Comic Relief whilst I was there. During these, she showed her dedication, her ability to keep a team motivated and on schedule, and an ability to manage complex and challenging processes. She was always open to any issues I was facing and was a supportive. Lula was always proactive in pushing ways to be positively improve processes and strategies.
