Luke is a creative and passionate game designer that likes to work with a clearly articulated purpose. He is a great collaborator and communicates his ideas well. Luke had a positive impact on my own design thinking and I appreciated his willingness to debate new ideas in fun and engaging brainstorming sessions. I would happily work with Luke again in the future if the opportunity presented it self.

Luke is a very talented designer with a technical background which allows him to design efficiently for developers to implement. I had the opportunity to work with Luke on Adventure Xpress which Luke was leading the design on and he demonstrated a very quick learning curve to new design challenges. Was able to solve difficult problems that came up on the project both design and getting the team onto the same vision. Luke is friendly and easy to work with he is a great listener and highly collaborative he was a pleasure to work with. Luke has strengths in game mechanics, reward systems, social features and core game design. I highly recommend Luke and would welcome the opportunity to work with him again in the future.

My key responsibilities in this multi-faceted role were focused around maintaining and extending the feature set and content for our web-based virtual world. As part of our rapid content generation cycle, I interacted with our main database via SQL and assembled XML metadata for dynamic content, working closely with our production artists to integrate art assets. I extended the AS3 client to support new features, and modified the Java-based server code where needed. As part of a small team, I also assisted in idea generation and design polishing for new mini-games, features, seasonal and event-driven themes, and promotions.
