When I turned up at Foundry 42, Luke instantly took me under his wing, and guided me through the crazy project that is Star Citizen. He and I worked together on the weapons of the game, and it's been one of the best learning experiences of my career so far. Luke has a brilliant depth of knowledge and experience, from which he is consistently able to pull ideas and direction that perfectly fit the task at hand. He taught me so much about designing sounds, and always pushed me to do the best I could, never settling for a sound that wouldn't serve the game. He's brilliant in a DAW, but also has a deep understanding of engines, editors, audio tools and the process of creating a video game. I hope to look back in 10+ years at my time working alongside Luke, and attribute it to shaping me as a sound designer and as a creative.
