My job is to watch a Premier League match live as it happens using a programme called IPD. I clip anything noteworthy that happens during the match, such as goals, chances, close-up shots, crowd shots etc. These clips are then selected by an editor and put into the highlights for that match. During my time in this role, I have learnt that this requires an ability to work proficiently under pressure and with a very close attention to detail, to ensure the highlights are accurately captured, as well as becoming capable in using logging and editing software. General Counsellor at a summer camp upstate New York. I chose this camp because of the focus on sports activities, and the opportunity to coach across numerous sports. In the 2 months I spent working there, I was looking after a group of 11-year-old boys. My duties included being responsible for my kids at all times from 8am until 10pm, 6 days a week. This included taking them to their daily activities, to all their meals and looking after their well-being. This was an incredible experience which I thoroughly enjoyed and which also gave me the opportunity to coach kids across many sports. Show less

Due to my desire to work in Sport Media, I was given the opportunity to work at BT Sport. I shadowed the Head of PR and worked in the marketing department where I assisted in sourcing promotional items, research, choosing images for adverts and proof reading newspaper adverts. I attended a workshop for the Invictus Games which was endorsed by Prince Harry. I also spent time at the TV studio where I learnt about the production and rollout of the UFC show from behind the scenes.
