I spent a summer working as a clinical Extern at an Upstate Cerebral Palsy Tradewinds school for teens with moderate to severe disabilities. I had a multitude of responsibilities including implementing programs under direct supervision of clinicians, working one on one with students, restraining students during very severe and aggressive behaviors, attending meetings with managerial and leadership staff, and working in the residential homes on campus.
