As a frequent guest at Scandi Resort not only as an individual but also bringing numerous groups to the resort, service was always exceptional. Last minute requests and custom itineraries were always managed with exceptional professionalism and expertise. The training of his team was also very evident in the day to day interactions with staff throughout the resort. Coordination and communication before and after trips was exceptional and detailed making arrangements for complex international itineraries simple and straight forward. Luke would make an excellent asset to any team.

To whom it may concern, I am writing in my capacity as an international dive resort consultant having held a position as resident advisor to the owner of Scandi Divers 2019 & 2020. In this capacity I was able to be in daily interaction with Luke Spence while he was general manager. To sum up my opinion of Mr. Spence, excellent dive resort manager, and further I would recommend/hire him in this capacity. Some of his strengths are below. Management: Luke was always 100% on top of all activities, constantly analyzing and improving every aspect of the resort. He is extremely good at overseeing/controlling/motivating the staff to achieve maximum of output. Notwithstanding the staff always liked working for him. Finance: Mr. Spence exercised excellent financial controls and operated within at times very strained budgets yet always was able to do the maximum with the resources. Dive Operations: He has all the knowledge/skills and experience to fully oversee dive operations at a world class level. Incidentally he is a superb instructor and diver in his own right. Guest Relations: Virtually every guest felt he was in charge and took care to make their visit memorable. There were many guests who developed close relationships with Luke and their genuine affection was very clear. I would go as far as saying there are guest who will follow him to any resort he is running. I could go on for quite a while here with attributes ( IT skills for example) but I think you will see my opinion. Let me sum up by saying I would recommend Mr. Spence as manager to any good dive resort, I personally would hire him at any resort I was in charge of and even more so I would not hesitate to work for Luke. No one will ever regret hiring Mr. Spence. Should you require any more information from me do not hesitate to contact me Regards, Capt.
