On a day-to-day basis I am overseeing a group of molten aluminum die cast machines, as well as groupings of CNC machines to check for defective issues by using certain x-ray machines, CMM for full correct layout, as well as work with a team of process technicians and engineers to correct any flaw in a work flow, also working along with the casters by regularly inspecting parts and then going through each parts work plan to see if the part is acceptable for each customer. I use various gauges, micrometers, and calipers to achieve some of what I have to find. I will then go through each parts individual process of how a customer would make a part from raw to a finished product to ensure it will pass. Able to read and understand various blueprint drawings. Understanding and identifying issues in molten aluminum dies and correcting the problem by cleaning and polishing dies. Trained in lock-out-tag-out. Show less

I use a buffer, lathe, belt sander, or various other machines for external finishing and polishing on many parts from Harley Davidson primary covers, bearing plates, headlight covers, door frames to Dodge Hellcat engine covers.
