I have been managed by Luke within Office Depot in 2016/17, would like to highlight how an easy person to work with he is, the way involves all his team, with constant internal team meetings giving you to the chance to raise and put on the table every single thought, idea, impression, issue or concern. Open minded, flexible, clever and very quick on define the key priorities his team has to focus on, also being a very easygoing person making you feeling comfortable and self confidence in your role keeping always all the responsibility on his back when representing the team. Also want to remark the way we have been focus on making proper breakdown on weekly figures looking to understand properly "where we are" on sales/margin and then try to find all together the right approach to improve them. Always providing each team member the opportunity to develop and implement different projects and ideas which can add additional value to the category. Definitely he has got as well a tremendous knowledge on how to develop and implement the category management strategy of any product portfolio, very analytical with strong leadership to make the best atmosphere within the team to achieve and hit any target or result. Have to say it has been a real pleasure have been part of his team and I have learnt a lot besides him in a professional but also in the personal.

Luke joined my team in the summer 2012 at an incredibly busy time for the business. Luke immediately impressed with his innovative and entrepreneurial approach to the role, taking on far more responsibility than would normally be expected of a new starter. He gained the confidence of others with his passion for developing his category, focusing on the development of the Viking Channel, allowing the rest of the team to complete the launch of the (at the time) new Office Depot Facilities Catalogue.
