• Worked within the financial management team performing a variety of tasks to enable the proper reporting of each month’s expenditure and income. • Managed the entire boroughs spend and income for walk in centres. • Presented numerous times to members of the board work with very positive feedback directly from the chair of the Finance Committee. • Worked closely on multiple projects with the Deputy Chief Finance Officer and our Interim Chief Finance officer. • Worked closely with the monitoring & tracking of the organisations savings. • Identified upwards of £1.5 million worth of estates savings for the organisation, in a variety of methods such as attaining credit notes for overcharges of invoices and identifying & challenging overcharges in historical invoices allowing for a reimbursement for this value. • Deputise for my line manager by regularly attending the biweekly “North East London Commissioning Alliance” call with other finance members from other local CCGs and providers to discuss the financial position of individual CCGs and providers and how this would impact the wider health economy of North East London. • I was finance evaluator in a sensitive procurement from its inception, all the way to contract being awarded to the successful bidder. This involved reviewing annual accounts, calculating financial ratios to determine if bidders passed / failed the criteria set out in the Procurement specification. • I was officially assigned the role of “Project Manager” for a project which was intending to improve the ease of access for patients across Tower Hamlets using IT Services • Deputised for my line manager when he was on annual leave by presenting the Long-Term Financial Plan and advising the senior CCG team of the financial gap in future years, the risks and mitigations. • Support external & internal audit review providing backing to journals, especially at year end. • Teach new senior staff on processes in financial management.
