Cafe Server
-
Dec 2019 - Aug 2021
I worked here up until the Coronavirus Pandemic brought everything to a halt and we had to close. I worked on the till here and served coffee and drinks to people. As the primary coffee bar in Dingle town, the atmosphere in there was always hectic and calmness was needed to carry out a job which I had in abundance. I was able to return to work in the summer of 2021 after my university year came to an end. I worked on the espresso machine, and I was learning from very skilled baristas. Another important part of my job was in the retail side of the shop where I would assist customers in choosing the best equipment, coffee or clothing they needed.

Public Relations Officer
-
Sep 2020 - May 2021
I was in charge of the promotion of events we have and collaboration events too. I designed the posters for Instagram, Twitter and Facebook accounts. I was also present in organising events and helping out in any way possible. Part of this role was also the publication of "Campus Narrative" as I took on the role of an editor in that publication. Munster Representative
-
Mar 2020 - Aug 2020
I became involved in this to help bring about change for rural communities in Ireland. I was elected as Munster Representative and held the position until we decided to dissolve the group as we had all come to the conclusion to no longer support the Green Party in government. In this role, I helped with online events throughout COVID-19 and helped propose policy to the main headquarters of the Green Party.
