My role includes providing oversight and development to the Board of Trustees and Chapter Committee Members, providing advice and guidance based upon experience, ensuring compliance with legality and best practice and ensure the constant improvement and evolution of the charity.

  With the success of Make a Smile within the UK, I opened a number of chapters within International Universities including within Australia, France and Germany. These are each overseen by a Board of Trustees within their respective country. My role is to then provide advice and guidance to these Trustees to ensure they fill the role and encourage collaboration between Boards.

  Cardiff, United Kingdom As President, I founded Make a Smile, in Cardiff, recruiting other students to form a committee and begin volunteering activities whereby volunteers would visit and provide enrichment activities to children in hospital and disabled children in the community, often dressed as well-known children's characters. My role involved overseeing the committee, including providing development opportunities, organising large and small events and providing general direction and policy.
